Millionaire Magicians

After slugging it out in Nashville's rock underground for over a decade, Jerry Campbell dissolved his band Spider Virus in 2003. Despite national tours and regional success, Campbell was tiring of living up to the expectations that fronting a "big rock band" required. After a few years crafting beautifully undestated solo home recordings, he rounded up a few friends to start a new project, Millionaire Magicians, that reflected the more subtle aspects of his musical tastes. In 2007, the band entered Battletapes Studio with Jerermy Ferguson (Be Your Own Pet, Mock Orange). The resulting EP is a fantastic blend of dark, moody pop with flashes of loud rock thrown in for good measure.
