Bio

I really took a grasp of music as a passion when I was 16. I grew up listening to whatever my sisters & mom would play around the house or in the car. I was born in Harlem, NY April 21st, 1994 & moved to Pennsylvania at age 5 but was only an hour away from all of my non-immediate family in NYC. Growing up Pennsylvania was what my mother (Harlem born & raised) wanted for me and my sisters but she never wanted us to deal with the drama that came along with my father. He was an abusive man who would argue and fight with my mom over the littlest things then he came upstairs one night and told my half brother's to get up, threw some clothes in a garbage bag & moved to South Carolina. At that point my mom was working overnight at a factory to make ends meet while there were 2 channels on our tv & some nights there wasn't much to eat but as cliché as it sounds love kept us together. At age 11 I bought my first album "Tha Carter II" by Lil Wayne. From that point on I really took a liking to his music & gravitated to his mixtapes and was fascinated by his metaphorical jargon. I would go to school and tell my friends which lines I caught on to the night before & literally just explain to them how wild it was that someone could make me think in such a way. My father wasn't really in my life for a couple of years and when he came back into we never had a peaceful moment amongst one another until this day. I feel proud to have been raised by my mother because morally she made me who I am today & I have a softer R&B touch to my music sometimes because of her blasting 98.7 KISS FM every weekend we'd drive to NYC. When I started releasing mixtapes in January 2011 I showed great influence and sometimes would even try too hard to be witty instead of making a song complete. Around April 2011 I had 36 total views on my YouTube page and decided to really focus on my "Chapter 4: Highschool Sweetheart" mixtape and really show people a glimpse of what I was capable of. I began my fan base the "Pilot Posse" on that mixtape & gained great publicity through YouTube when my "I'm On One" remake brought in over 100k views alone. At that point I had the confidence and kept writing and releasing music & gaining fans while doing shows in the tri-state area. By 2012 I had released already over 125+ songs in just a year of rapping, had over 500k total views on my YouTube page, & over 12,000 likes on my Facebook page. Along with my 2 friends, I released a clothing line February of 2012, "Pilot Posse Gear", which (the first line) has sold out since releasing. I finished High School in 2012 & almost immediately moved to California with 2 of my friends & for months we stayed with fans in San Diego. Through that time I released one mixtape titled "Cali" & went through some crazy life experiences & sadly friendships were ended & lives were altered. Now to this day I am in California without my 2 friends but still pushing hard to make my dreams a reality. I have been working extremely hard on making great music & I feel like what I've been through to reach where I'm at currently just makes my music what it is & me also who I am today. We are all different in a sense that nobody has the same exact life as someone else & there is always a story waiting to be told & I just want my story to be the next one you hear about.
