Bio

With the arival of CT's first major commercial urban radio station in 2003, Milo Sheff invaded airwaves with consistent DJ Promos and has had a state record of 12 different songs featured on the top rated HOT 8 at 8 countdown. Milo's over saturation of his bouncy delivery and catchy hooks set the tone for a starving Hip-Hop scene in the hidden market of Hartford CT. Milo's first single "Last Call" was the first CT Rap record to be added to rotation at WZMX, and his second single "Wynd Up" received BDS spins on WZMX, WPHH, WKSS, WKCI, KKWD, and WDLT, among others. In 2004, He once again broke down doors with the in store release of "SHEFF HAPPENZ" birthing the idea of a "mix tape album" which included a DVD containing a BET Uncut music video and a documentary on his not so average life behind the spot light. Through radio airplay, special appearances, and live shows, Milo's name is respected among rappers and fans alike. Currently he is gearing up to independently release his highly anticipated album SHAPESHIFTER and is in the studio cooking up his next project CHEWABLE LIKWID which he hopes to drop on a Major label. With both projects featuring heavy production from CT's finest producers; SHAPESHIFTER and CHEWABLE LIKWID are sure to be classics.

Milo started his journey in 2001 where he literally invaded major commercial radio in CT, flooding them with promos, drops, and songs featured on WZMX, Hot 93.7's original local segment “crunk it or junk it”. His first single “Last Call” released in Spring of 03', was the first local Hip-hop song put in Hot 93.7's late night rotation and his new single “Wynd Up” continues to impact radio in the Hartford Market.

Milo Sheff has set the pace for the CT Hip hop scene. He has opened up for the likes of Nas, Usher, Busta Rhymes, to name a few. He is known for his energetic stage performance, his numerous mix tape installments, and his catchy radio promos. The self proclaimed “promo king” has recently expanded his radio promos to other markets. Now being heard in such markets as Providence, Buffalo, and Boston, the young emcee is starting to make some noise in the music industry.

Milo's influence on the Hartford Market is seen by other local artists following the path he's already paved. With HarshRealz strongly pushing Milo he will continue to open eyes and ears with his own style of “switching styles”. From his catchy hooks and bridges, to his bouncy delivery, to those one of a kind rhyme schemes, Milo breaks the mold of Hip-hop music. It's a matter of time before Milo Sheff puts CT on the music industry map.
