Still working on that hot first release.

Milton Carrero began writing songs at the age of 17, inspired by the beauty and social complexities of his Puerto Rican land. Born in Zaragoza and currently living in Pennsylvania, where he works as a journalist, Milton is a pilgrim troubadour.

He produced his first album, Transparente y Desnudo in 2006, under the pseudonym of Mitra Shanti, which means friend of peace in Indias Sanskrit language.  That first album enabled Milton to travel across Latin America, Europe and the United States, sharing the stage and memories with various personal heroes, including the Puerto Rican singer Danny Rivera and the late Argentine troubadour Facundo Cabral.

After spending several seasons living in the Sacromonte caves of Granada, Spain, and seeing the need to protect these spaces, Milton decided to bring international attention to the beauty that lives inside these caves.

From the descriptions of Caribbean beaches to the pain of a mother minutes after losing her child, from the intoxication of love to the separation of souls, from the struggles of our daily lives, to the mysticism of death and the wonders of our spiritual paths, Milton Carrero invites us with his songs to reflect about the world we live in and the one we once dared to imagine.  - See more at:
