"Roy Orbison Tribute"

During much of 2009, Milton Jerome (McAllister), has focused his attention on his new Roy Orbison Tribute. The Atlantic Canadian tour opened on January 31st in a stellar performance at Moncton's Celebration Centre. The Event was in conjunction with the World Elvis Champion, Thane Dunn's, Elvis' Birthday Celebration. The capacity crowd of nearly two thousand was treated to strong vocals reminiscent of the Roy Orbison & Elvis eras and to authentic Elvis attire of the 1970s. Milton Jerome has been performing Oldies Rock n Roll throughout Atlantic Canada over the past ten years. With five seasons as the GTO Band's lead vocalist and more recently, the front man for the OVERDRIVE Classic Rock Show; Milt's Roy Orbison Tribute has raised the bar, resulting in his best vocal performance to date. The tour continued on April 19th at the Imperial Theatre in Saint John NB and May 2nd, at the Savoy Theatre in Glace Bay NS. Later stops included Festival Theatre at Acadia University in Wolfville, NB. Milton now plans a series of corporate stops to end off 2009. - www.atlanticbands.com

Bio

Milton has been writing since his teens during his time with the rock group Phase Four. While continuing his writing, Milton spent 15 years in business & away from performing until returning as lead singer of the GTO Band in 2000. Touring Atlantic Canada as the headline act at major festivals and corporate functions, he currently performs with the Overdrive Classic Rock Show. In what many have described as his best vocal performance to date, Milt teamed up with World Elvis Champion, Thane Dunn, paying tribute to the legendary vocals of Roy Orbison. This theatre tour included stops at the historic Imperial & Savoy Theatres. While Milton has been writing for many years, until recently his creations have been heard by only a select few. You can now listen to his first professional recording; "Unconditionally" on Radio RNR.
