Milyssa Rose

Milyssa Rose was born in Detroit, Michigan. At the age of six, her family relocated to Marietta, GA. She always knew that entertainment was her aspiration. Growing up, she participated in Community Theatre, modeling, commercials and talent shows. Milyssa also has been studying with a vocal coach for many years to perfect her craft.

After graduating high school, Milyssa tried her hand at reality based talent searches. She soon realized that being an overnight celebrity was not her path for success. At eighteen, she began writing lyrics and experimenting with different production teams. Time and time again producers did not want to take risks musically. She was looking to be an artist with something to bring to the table outside of the typical mainstream artists. Determined to be a star, she signed to an indie label. Unfortunately, they fell on hard times and she was released from her contract. Finally, she joined forces with Strong Foundation & Co. and 2 Gran Productions. Milyssa felt being more involved in the creative process would broaden her horizons and strengthen her skills.

Milyssa is a Pop Artist with an edge. Her voice is powerful, soulful and has dynamic range. Milyssas CD has a song for everyone. She explores Pop, Rock, Club Bangers and Hip Hop collaborations. Milyssa prides herself on being versatile and thinking outside the box. She hopes to continue to grow as an artist and performer.

Milyssa is always open to performing.Her stage show is full of energy and personality. She has performed at the Sweet Auburn Festival, the Rialto Theater, Piedmont Park, Smith's Olde Bar,Jungle, and Center Stage just to name a few.Milyssa has opened for such acts as B5,Faith Evans, Donnell Jones, and the Rich Kidz. She has been active in community fundraisers for People Tv, The Shepherd's House, Rainbow House, 500 Songs for Kids, and International Women of H.O.P.E. and Sosyete Koukouy of Atlanta.Milyssa enjoys connecting with her audience and receiving their input on her music.

In the future, she hopes to continue to perfect her skills as an artist and performer. She envisions having her own Production Company, Talent Company and clothing line. She also wants to give back to her community by raising funds and volunteering her time to HIV/AIDS, Battered Women and Children as well as Animal Rights Organizations. With Milyssas undying determination and drive nothing will be able to stand in her way of Superstardom.
