Bio
Mimes of Wine is the project of singer and pianist Laura Loriga. Her songs are variegated and stark compositions, darker and cinematic ballads close to slow core or to an “ancestral” folk, enriched by the contribution of her band (Stefano Michelotti - nychelharpa, accordion, dan-bau, shruti box and more, Matteo Zucconi -upright bass, pedals, Luca Gugliemlino - electric guitar, and Max Messina -drums).
Laura has so far released three full length records (Apocalypse sets in - Midfinger Records/Warner Chappell, 2009, Memories for the Unseen - Urtovox Records, 2012, and La Maison Verte - Urtovox Records (ITA)/Accidental Muzik (US),2016), followed by tours over Italy and numerous shows in Germany, Austria, France, California, New York California. She is currently active between Italy and New York. Among her main collaborations are the ones with the post rock band Giardini di Mirò, the one with composer Leonardo de Bernardini and the one with the producer Adam Moseley.
