Mimika

Born in Toronto and raised in Brampton, singer/ songwriter Mimika discovered music at a young age. She began as a writer, penning everything from poetry to stories and plays as a child, eventually she stumbled into the world of music and ended up combining her two passions. She taught herself piano and guitar and developed a knack for entertaining very early on. She regularly performed in her elementary and high school productions and actively sought performance opportunities in her city. More recently, Mimika has played Toronto venues such as Revival Bar, the Cavern and the Supermarket. She bounced around sonically with her first few releases trying to figure out what she wanted to say as an artist and how she wanted to present it to the world and now, at 19, she’s figured it out and is ready to come out of the gates sprinting.
