Bio
One of the freshest jazz voices on the Canadian scene. Her debut CD "Thank You, Merci" perfectly captures her distinctive and swinging sound. Her highly personal approach to her material is pure jazz - in the moment and rooted in the tradition of great singers like Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday and Sarah Vaughan. Her choice of material is equally cool, covering seldom-heard tunes by Randy Weston, WC Handy, Horace Silver, and others.
