Sometimes heavy, sometimes bluesy, sometimes mellow, these fun-loving musicians have a passion for art and music. Influenced by heavy-sloppy-bluesy-sappy-mellow-angry-grungy rock music, MindEnema recreates the successful sound of the 90's while adding enough originality to make their songs one-of-a-kind. Maybe it's the electric guitar riffs; maybe it's the bass grooves; maybe it's the solid drum beats or the haunting raspy vocals, but something about their songs makes you want to BANG YOUR HEAD!

Singer/songwriter/guitarist and front-man Juan Villegas graduated from Sam Houston State University with a bachelor of Fine Arts. MindEnema's logo and other paintings are the work of his art. He currently lives in Houston, Texas and works for an art supply company.

Drummer/backup vocalist Austin Rourke is a senior Biology major at Sam Houston State University. He is a self-taught drummer of five years whose passion for percussion stemmed from his childhood years of playing the piano. He currently works as a pharmacy technician near where he lives in Huntsville, Texas.

Bassist Joe Baker is a teddy bear on the outside, but a furious musician on the inside! Joe has a passion for slapping and picking big metal strings. Challenging himself with complicated bass riffs, his style is the perfect fit for MindEnema. He currently serves the drinking needs of college students and cowboys alike at a local club in Huntsville, TX.
