Discography

"The Infinite Intricate"is the only CD that we have had manufactured and released however we have written and recorded many works prior to and since its release. The single off the CD is entitled "127" and is currently scheduled to get airplay on several radio stations across the country. We also have several songs and involvement in sound tracks and sound engineering for trailers on a variety of independent films, most notably the "Vallonica" films "Sometimes in Life" and "Don't Stunt my Molson Growth", that have been involved in several film festivals around the world. Our latest CD that is scheduled for release on 4-1-10 is entitled "Secrets in Eden". As is the case with all of our new material, we have gone a slightly different direction with this CD while maintaining a thread thats still ties the material to our previous works. Our sound is a constant evolution and those that follow us and enjoy what we do are able to grow and evolve not only with our music but with us as artists and individuals as well. We never know what we will do next and I think that keeps it interesting for others.

Bio

Mindizade (Mind is a day), is Paul Peters of Toledo, Ohio and Kosmic Kat of Detroit Michigan. We began performing together in a band called "Aura"in Detroit and formed many bands since then playing across the country. We now are concentrated on writing and recording, and enjoy the studio immensely. We have this inexplicable habit of evolving mentally and artistically in a simultaneous manner, which makes it very easy to create and evolve our music to new places. Having played and recorded together for 14 years we have experienced a lot on the road and in the studio and are in tune with each others playing styles and states of mind. The fact that we both survived being teenagers, numerous girlfriends, the road, existing on Kool Aid and fried egg noodles, band mates coming and going,etc..etc.. and are creating music still is a testament to our friendship and dedication to our art.
Our music is a changing and evolving expedition into the uncharted depths of our minds. We write and record what we feel and want to express as different moments in our lives provide different inspiration and crisis. We have much more material than just our release "The Infinite Intricate". We have an extensive back log of music that spreads across the full spectrum of genres, such as acoustic, psychedelic, punk, funk, blues, electronic, comedy, country, hard core, and also some really cool hybrids of one or more genres. We appreciate and love all types of music and that is reflected in our writing. No attempt is ever made to emulate a certain sound, we simply listen to and obey our own artistic visions and try to reproduce exactly what we hear in our heads. Certainly we have been molded by years of influence from a multitude of bands and artists from a wide range of styles. Some of our influences include, but are not limited to , The Beatles, Led Zeppelin,The Rolling Stones, Black Sabbath, Kool and the Gang, The Doors, Beck, The Flaming Lips, Jim Croce, Clutch, James Brown, Frank Zappa, Glenn Gould, Skinny Puppy, Luciano Pavarotti, Charlie Daniels Band, The Black Crowes, Funkadelic, Dee Lite, The Beastie Boys, ELO, Bootsy Collins, 10cc, ZZ Top, Jerry Lee Lewis, Prodigy, Jimi Hendrix, Jethro Tull, Robin Trower, Primus, Janes Addiction, and many many more, too many to list. The list is constantly growing because we are always looking for new music that we have yet to hear. Being always eager to experience new music with an open minded approach has helped us grow as artists and as people. In my experience listening to music throughout my life the bands that have always held the most interest for me were those that continued to change and evolve with each new album, Beatles, Doors, Smashing Pumpkins, Clutch, Hendrix, Zeppelin, Beck. I suppose that is our main goal, to keep on reaching for the next changing artistic vision and hope we can bring people along on the ride with us.
