Mentality

Mentality is an 18 year old artist from Illinois who preaches a different type of struggle. While he began writing songs when he was in 4th grade, he didn't start to get serious until July of 2011. "Ever since I was 10 years old I knew I wanted to rap for a living". His style can be described as a deep poetic type who many people can relate to. He is far from the average MC and prides himself in that. Mentality isn't about the wealth, fame, or prosperity... he just wants his music to be heard by the world. "I know the music that I create means a lot to me and I just want other people to benefit from what I'm saying in my songs." He loves to tell stories within his lyrics and you can feel how much emotion he puts into each song. It is safe to say that he is a true dream chaser and will not let anything or anyone get in his way from achieving what he wants in life.
