The best kept secret in music

"'Last Call' CD review (cut-the-strings.net)"

"FINALLY! In a scene that's heavily overcrowded with run-of-the-mill emo/scremo/hardxcore/whatever bands, Mindside 19 dares to remind us that there's more to life than broken hearts and murderous revenge. Though this album takes very heavily from the 90's punk movement, it's a nice reminder that there's still more to life than the "scene." These 5 guys have a passion for the music that could never be matched by the carbon copy emo groups of today...This album is straight forward, in your face, energetic punk." - cut-the-strings.net

"'Last Call' CD review (followthedaiz.com)"

"People try to tell me that Punk is dead; I might have believed them until I came across Mindside 19's newest album, 'Last Call'. This album has raw vocals, catchy lyrics, fast paced drumbeats, slick guitar riffs, and pounding bass lines. Whether they are singing about past love experiences or telling Bush to shove it, Mindside 19's 'Last Call' is a must own album." - followthedaiz.com

'Last Call' (15 songs) - March 2005
'Duck and Cover' (3 songs) - 2001
'Double Fisted' (10 songs) - 2000

Feeling a bit camera shy

Charm City rockers Mindside 19 play their own brand of punk rock. Their unique blend of old school riffs combined with melodic in your face vocals leaves the audience screaming for more. Energy and excitement surge through the crowd when Mindside 19 takes the stage, inviting the crowd to participate in the numerous gang vocals and sing along choruses. Baltimore’s City Paper referred to Mindside 19 as "one of Baltimore's hottest bands" and they have received repeated airplay on D.C. 101’s Local Lix as well as on Marshall University Radio (WMUL 88.1FM).
Starting in Baltimore, Mindside 19 has been rocking the local music scene for years racking up an impressive resume of the top venues the city has to offer. They have also played shows at venues throughout the mid-atlantic attracting a large fan base. They are currently working on booking a small tour in support of their new CD for the summer/fall of 2005.
Mindside 19's debut CD, ‘Double Fisted’, was released in the summer of 2000. A second, 3-song CD, ‘Duck and Cover’, was released in 2001. Armed with a new vocalist in the spring of 2004, the band hit the studio again and released their new full length CD ‘Last Call’ in March 2005.

Mindside 19 has been around in some way, shape or form since 1996. There have been a few lineup changes and 3 name changes since that time, but one thing is still the same: we play punk rock. We bring energy to the stage and involve the crowd and have a hell of a good time doing it. That's what makes for a good show.
Our list of influences could go on forever, and they go beyond just punk rock. However, our main punk influences would have to be bands like Strung Out, Anti-Flag, Pennywise and NOFX.
