Miners Club formed in 2008 in wirrula South Australia when a four piece band met a travelling Englishman who wrote songs.
The band have received great exposure not only in Australia but also the UK. In Australia they've have made a name for themselves being played on the number radio station Triple J and obtaining support slots for acts slightly higher up the food chain such as British India and the Kill Devil Hills.
In the UK they were championed by Singer/songwriter turned radio presenter Tom Robinson and featured not only on his BBC radio show but also got to play at Wychwood festival after an invite.
They have toured the UK and as well as Wychwood Miners Club have also played twice at Bestival and many prestigious London venues.
