Bio
Minerva creates vulnerable, emotional indie-pop music that features melancholic tunes and deep lyrics. Her songs leave listeners with nostalgia for the bittersweet past.
Minerva began playing piano at the age of four and completed the Royal Conservatory music program at fifteen. After receiving her ARCT Diploma in piano performance, she began to pursue her dream of becoming a singer songwriter. In April 2018, Minerva was featured as a vocalist in IconiË’s music video “Mirrors”. Since then, she has written her own songs which will complete the much anticipated EP “Goodbye Blues”.
Minerva uses music as a way to cope with stress and finds inspiration from real life experiences. She incorporates many references in her lyrics that allow listeners to connect and relate to, such as her single “Paper Trees” which falls heavily on the topic of environmental damage. Minerva also loves to use her songs to tell a story, whether it’s a heart wrenching breakup (“Love Me Right”) or a twist on the Garden of Eden (“Eve”). As an aspiring artist, Minerva hopes to reach out to all her listeners and comfort them with her music.
