minister horace brown

Minister Horace Brown is a true Floridian; I was born and raised in Belle Glade, Florida.  I served in the United States Marine Corp from 1968 thru 1975. After my service in the Marines, I worked for the United States Government in Los Angeles, California from 1984-1989. I returned back to Florida to take care of my mother who resided in Fort Meyers, Fl.

I attended Edison College in Fort Meyers, Florida and received an AA degree in Sociology. I worked for the Parks & Recreations in Lee County, Florida then the International Labor Union of Miami until I retired in 2011. While working at The Parks & Recreations in Lee County, I was ordained as a Minister at First Baptist of Brownsville in Miami, Florida in 2004 where I attend currently as an Associate Minister.

I began singing at an early age in the Youth Choir at St. Mary's Baptist Church in Belle Glade, FL. I combined my love for Jesus and singing to reach people of all ages, nationalities and religions. Since my retirement I’ve been on "His assignment from God" which is reaching the masses through the Word of God and in Song.

Lastly I’ve embraced all that God has given me and continues to lift up God in all that he does.  You can always find him on the battlefield for the Lord; Look out for Minister Brown; I’m taking the Gospel to a whole new level!
