Bio

Minister Meek & Patrick Milla is a band duo that reunited in 2014.  Tamieko Amos 'Minister Meek" and Patrick Miller "Patrick Milla" are childhood friends who started rapping together.  Initially they were called "The Sons Of Thunder", a Christian Rap band rapping at church functions in the early 90's.  After graduation, Patrick went off to college in Kansas and Tamieko stayed in Dallas.  They remained friends but stopped making music together at that time.
In 1996, Patrick Milla signed with "Harvest Hill Entertainment." Derek Jones and DJ Rock T (97.9 the beat / Rickey Smiley Morning Show) were the CEO's of Havest Hill Ent.  Patrick Milla was able to attain regional success under Harvest Hill.  He was featured on the remix to "Swang On Em" by Arrogant which went into rotation on 97.9 the beat (DFW metro).  He gained national exposer by being featured on the "White Tee" remix by the Franchise Boyz with Jermaine Dupri.  Under the label he has opened for acts such as Lil Flip, Mike Jones, Bun B, Ginuwine, Avante,  performed in front of thousands at Houston's Compaq Center opening for B2K, and much more.
Due to excess and bad habits Patrick Milla ceased the secular rap lifestyle and re-dedicated his life to Christ in 2011.  As a devout Christian his music is now Christ centered.  Minister Meek continued his rap career as a solo act, and in the earlier 2000's became an ordained minister.  Both these guys continued to actively perform and make music.  In 2014 they reunited forming the band/duo "Minister Meek & Patrick Milla" and just completed an album called "Fly High."
Compassion for others reflected in their music is what sets these guys apart.  Love for others is what they are all about.
