John Taylor Jr. was born in Peoria Illinois October 30, 1982 later was adopted through Catholic Charities by two wonderful loving parents John Albert Taylor & Letha Ann Taylor both from Yazoo city Mississippi. Since than Min. John Taylor Jr. Has been raised in Jackson, Mississippi. In 2001 Min. John Taylor graduated from Lanier High School. There he song in the Lanier Superior rated Choir, from 9th grade - 11th and was voted Mr. Choir. Currently Min. John Taylor has attended Belhaven University in Jackson, Mississippi majoring in Business Administration. For years he has been involved with community based organizations working as a volunteer. He has volunteered with Organizations such as the Amos Network, Red Cross, Mission Mississippi, The City of Jackson Human & Cultural Services Division of Families and Youth as well as the Senior Services Division helping deliver meals to the elderly, also King Hiram Grand Masonic Lodge Grand Electra Order of the Eastern Stars in Jackson Mississippi the fifth Masonic District. Min. John Taylor Jr. is the founder of John Jr. Gospel Ministries through this out reach ministry The God Loves You Conference was organized and the God Loves You Community Festival was organized. Through this Ministry many other community based projects were birthed such as The John Taylor Christmas Toy giveaway, The 1st Annual Easter Egg Community extravaganza for kids. MIN. John Taylor has never received pay for his community development work. But through the help from Corporate Sponsors, such as Captain D’s, POND, Gamow, Tyler P. A., TATUM & WADE AT LAW, Schwartz & Associates, P.A., Sweet & Associates, Don Evans, Mr. Lee Land Speed, Mr. Leroy Walker, Mr. David Watkins, Bishop Ronnie C Crud up, David L. Archie community based projects were successful. In October 2005 Governor of the STATE of Mississippi Haley Barbour helped him receive his first Federal Government job with FEMA he worked as a applicant service Rep, in Community Relations were he received certificates of training from the Emergency Management Institute. He received his first record deal with Prosperity Records when he was fifteen under the leadership of Bishop Adam T. Sanders a producer and world renowned musician. He has song in Harlem New York, Plain Field, New Jersey, and Land over Maryland, Richmond Virginal, and Detroit MI AND all over the south. He has opened for National Artist such as Dotties People, The Canton Sprituals, KEITHWONDERBOYJOHNSON, LEEWILLIAMS, PERFORMED ON THE Gospel MUSIC WORKSHOP NEW ARTIST Artist Show Case, and has traveled to NEW YORK CITY AND PERFORMED IN HARLEM NEW YORK , PLIANFIELD NEW JERSEY.
