After these two somewhat inaccessible groups, the next act was like Thor's hammer to the face. Vancouver, Washington's Minoton stormed across the river to rain down thundering metal on unsuspecting Portlanders. With a savage three-guitar assault and vocals that were hard to make out — but sounded diabolical — Minoton served up beefy, devil horn rock with a healthy sense of humor. One song was called "White Wizards Ride Black Unicorns" and on their MySpace page the band cites PBR as an influence. They even have a theme song called "Minoton." - performer magazine march 2007
