Minus Fields

Mike and Chris grew up 2 houses apart. They played music together since they were in their early teens. Having a difficult time finding the right blend for their sound they settled on doing it as a 2 piece - big, angular, catchy guitars, driving, whirling thunderous bass, melodic, dynamic and original sounding vocals, and a drummer that never misses a beat - and doesn't talk back when they boss him around (easy drummers - it's a drum machine! haha!). After years of experimenting, they wrote, recorded, produced and engineered their first full length album called 'Armed and Asleep'. It is the quintessential DIY album - except is sounds INCREDIBLE. Their pride in this album shows at their live performances and the songs resonate with listeners - citing favorites such as 'Andro', 'Pigeons', 'High Seas' and 'Empty Barrel'. Live, they are funny, and humble, but you can still see the passion and love with which they perform these songs.
