Mira

Miray Kurtulus's music career began when she was a film student at Galatasaray University / Istanbul, where she scored music for her own short films as well as other student films. After studying visual design in France, she returned to Turkey and began singing R&B and soul in a cover band named "Bitter". Later on Miray began preparing Turkish psychedelic-electronic tracks with Selen Hunerli (the current vocalist in the band "Norrda") for their "Nada" project. In 2007 Miray and Tan Tuncag started their band "Mira".

Tan Tuncag who combines electronica with acoustic elements in his music, embarked on a musical adventure in London where he played in several clubs. After his return to Turkey, Tan Tuncag became one of the leaders of new cross-platform art in Turkey, he has been writing music for theatre, films, TV and commercials. Tan has performed in the same events with prominent DJs and electronica groups such as Plaid, Mouse on Mars, The Orb, and Chemical Brothers. In 2005 he and Deniz Cuylan started the electronica/rock band "Portecho", their first album was released in 2006 by Elec-Trip Records. In 2007 Tan and Miray Kurtuluþ started their band "Mira".
