Bio
"Mirrors." is a DIY audio and visual project by Kurt Collinet. Starting in late 2015, it started as a way of expressing things that weren't innate to my personality on an outward level. Music has since become a unique way to show my friends (and whomever listens) how I actually feel about certain things that have affected me either emotionally or mentally.
All of the music is produced, engineered, mastered, and performed my myself. I also do all the album artwork and all creative content affiliated with this project is self-directed.
Throughout 2016, four EP's were released with each season of the calendar year. Each EP tackled the subject of getting over someone and reflected, sonically and lyrically, the season that it belonged in. All of these EP's have come together into one Album, "Seasons," released in February of 2017 with a much more polished sound and cohesion than the previous years work.
Throughout 2017 (and onward), my goal is to create more visual content, more music, and to play shows in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
