Music has always been an instrumental part of her life. With a musician for a father and a music lover for a mother - music is in her blood. Recognizing she had musically inclined child Mischkas mother emerged her in music. Smokey Robinson, Luther Vandross, Diana Ross, Marvin Gaye, Al Jarreau, Lena Horne, Ella Fitzgarald, Nina Simone, Willie Nelson, Sam Cooke, David Bowie, Phil Collins, Sting.

This R&B newcomer, is no stranger to the music scene.  Her love for music led her to focus her efforts to song writing.

This led Mischka on a path to discover who she was as an artist.

My music is me. Its rooted in R&B but its also soul, funk, jazz, pop etc.  I just do what feels good to me. I write and sing to suit my mood or the mood the music gives me. Dark, sad, joyful, or in love.  To me thats what R&B is, its about conveying an emotion and taking you to that place.  Whatever it takes to take you there.
