Bio

Misfatto is a rock band from Piacenza, Northern Italy. They formed in the early nineties, and until 2000 they did more than 200 gigs, including the memorable opening act for the famous Italian pop band “I Nomadi” in 1994 at Fuori Orario Club (Taneto di Gattatico, RE).

From 1999 to 2000 they worked on their first official CD, named simply “Misfatto” and published by Discoteam Label di Arezzo, and there they had the opportunity of presenting their first single “Settembre” as another opening act, this time for the famous “Dik Dik” featuring Davide Devoti on guitar.

The founders, Alessandro Chiesa (vocals and bass) and Gabriele Finotti (guitar) like to define the style of the band as “TRIPROCK”.

Between 2001 and 2004, beyond working on new songs for the upcoming album, they continued their live shows in the clubs of the area, and they participated on the Rock Targato Italia contest in 2001, reaching the semifinals. In 2005 they completed the studio work and released “Invisible”, their new CD, by the end of the year under LEVEL49 label. The new album was presented in the label's stand at one of the most important musical fairs, M.E.I. 2005.

The official live debut with the new album is on March, 15th 2006 at Daytona Pub in Piacenza featuring as a special guest the great saxophonist Alessandro Bertozzi.

Misfatto also founded the Orzorock festival, quite famous in this area, happening yearly since 1996 on the bank of the river Trebbia. Misfatto played regularly in this festival, usually scheduled in July, and helped lots of local bands to heve their debut. They are currently working on their new album under LEVEL49 label.
