Misguided Kings are essentially an originals band whose music varies from acoustic ballads to hard rock. They have been writing and rehearsing songs over the past 18 months and are currently recording their first album which they plan to release independently. 3 Tracks from the album form an EP titled “32 Down – Part 1” which has been released in digital format only. All profits from the sale of this EP will be donated to Beyond Blue, a charity close to the heart of the members of the band.
Nathan and Andy previously worked together in the Newcastle University band “Headspace” between 1999 and 2002. This band was predominately an originals band writing and performing 90’s rock. They released 2 independent EP’s in their time together. Misguided Kings came together in May 2011 following 2 months of Andy and Nathan writing new material together and Andy’s chance meeting with Robbie at a rock gig in Newcastle just a month earlier.
