Mishra's Dream is the collaboration of several different musical backgrounds forming a high-energy landscape of jazz standards and gypsy melodies. The acoustic quintet is excellent at adapting to the situation, be it a theatre setting, conference dinner or packed jazz club. In the legacy of Reinhardt and Grappelli with their Hot Club Quintet, other influences include the Rosenberg Trio, Bireli Lagrene, Angelo Debarre, and the Tarafs de Haidouks, among others. From barns to theaters, cafes to restaurants, bars to concert halls, Mishra's Dream have delighted many audiences with their emotional and driving style of jazz, and look forward to their first album release in the near future.
