Miss-A is a versatile writer/composer currently an afro-hiphop artist who lives and breaths music who was awarded a trophy for best writer in primary and amazed teachers with her writing skill in grade eleven. She was born in Tembisa but spent her teenage years in mpumalanga with her late grandmother. She inherited her writing and perfoming skill from her grandfather who was also an indie artist during the times of soul brothers. She started writing songs in grade 7, became a recording artist in 2009 then stared perfoming in 2012 in a show she helped organise, she been perfoming on showcases and concerts around joburg ever since.
