Miss Aj

Start applauding her now, because Ajaezia Scott aka Miss Aj, a 9 year old little girl who will wow you with her talent. At the young age of 6 she recorded her first single "The Toothbrush Song". Since she was a baby she has been singing, rapping and lip singing to the tunes of some of her favorite artists like The Temptations, Etta James, Michael Jackson, J.J. Fad, MC Lyte and a few more.

In 2006, Miss Aj joined Hip Hop Education (HHE) a non-profit youth group who spreads positive messages through music. Her first appearance with HHE was in front of hundreds of people right outside the White House gates in Lafayette Park an event hosted by Code Pink, Women for Peace, which was highlighted on WUSA 9 News.

Miss Aj has performed throughout the Washington DC Metropolitan Area for many events. She has had the pleasure of appearing at Howard University Hip Hop Forum, Busboys & Poets, The National Black Luv Festival, Jena Six Rally in Washington DC, Stop Torture Event in Smithfield, NC, Hip Hop Caucus "Enough is Enough Rally, in Washington DC, The Recording Academy Washington DC Chapter, Black Family Reunion "Children's Pavilion", Walk for Change on the Lincoln Memorial Steps in Washington DC, DC Metropolitan Police Department and so many more.

In 2009, she was asked to perform her "Toothbrush Song" live at the 930 Club which is one of the most well known venues in Washington DC as part of the Cozza Connection Project for Bassnectar Tour.

Ajaezia is full of love, joy and happiness and not one to sleep on, she is currently taking voice and piano lessons at Joyful Sounds, and has just started beginner guitar classes at Levine School of Music. She is also starting to do a little reporting for events. Miss had her first reporting assignment for the United Nations as a tween reporter at the Girl-Up Pep Rally in Washington DC.

Miss Aj is a Diva at heart and she has strutted across a few runways for some local fashion designers to showcase their children clothing lines. Modeling is something that she would like to pursue more in the future.
