Bio

Starting with Vocalist and Guitarist, Molly Edgar, and Lead Guitarist, Kristian Johnstone, gigging locally with two acoustic guitars, the band has progressed throughout the two years. Ryan Galea joined the band shortly after, bringing drums into the mix in order for us to to transform our sound into the making of a band. After gigging with a previous bassist from 2011, Peter Schofield took over the role as Bassist at the start of 2012 and since has managed to push the boundaries of Missarioty to the next level. In less than a year of having their current line up, Missarioty achieved what the majority of bands from the local area would achieve in their music careers, sharing the stage with the likes of The King Blues and The Gallows, as well as performing at the same festival as the likes of Lower Tham Atlantis and Zane Lowe.
In September 2012, Missarioty recorded their debut EP in their home town which they released for a free download entitled "It's Never Too Late For Cowbell". Through online downloads and handing out free CD's at gigs, they found that they began to attract a following of people that were travelling around the county to see the band play.

In late September 2012, Missarioty travelled out of Cumbria for the first time to enter Blackpool's Battle of The Bands 2012 in which they fended off 14 other bands to win the competition. This then gained them more studio recording time, whilst being at the competition they attracted a fan base from Blackpool and found that people were eager to see their return to the town.
Also in September 2012 Missarioty we're invited to play at the Liverpool O2 Academy to showcase their sound, which gained a fantastic response. From this they were also asked by 'JAR Music Live' to return to this venue with the opportunity to showcase their sound to several record labels and the press which is due to take place in April 2013.

In late 2012, Missarioty partnered up with a promotions company in the North East, which since then have been travelling all around that area showcasing their sound. All the time, gaining more and more of a fan base.
In January 2013 the band made their return to Blackpool to record a 3 track live demo at RHMG Studio's in the town, which is due to be released in Spring 2013. As well as recording during their time there, they also headlined a charity event there which was sold out with people eagerly waiting for the band's return.
Also in January 2013, Missarioty were asked to be part of BBC Introducing to showcase their music on BBC Radio Cumbria.
