Miss Behavin', we are a western band specializing in Country, Rock & Blues. We are working hard to popularize Country music in Germany. We do original and cover songs but they are always our own. Old & new, rock & blues, Country Music for City Folk!!!

Biography

Miss Behavin' is a band fighting against clichés while trying to protect the integrity of country music. No, we don't want to wear the fringe, but yes, we want to play Hank Williams. Yes, we're funny, satirical and we don't take ourselves too seriously and yes, we are planning to put Frank Zappa's "Joe's Garage" on our next album, right after Hank Williams' "Lovesick Blues" .

Twistin' Jack

Written By: Leslie Pattillo / Ben Morgan

Twistin’ Jack

My daddy didn't dance, not even a lick

so they called him Twistin’ Jack.

He always sat face to the bar

all the dancers got was back.

His boot were made of cement

and his jeans were made of stone

rumor goes that he did once dance

but then he was alone

chorus one

Twistin’ Jack Twistin’ Jack

Twistin’ down the road in his old Cadillac

Twistin’ the top off a long neck beer

but you won't see Jack dancing here

Now Twistin’ Jack was a handsome man

and he caught the eye of all the girls

they'd buy him drinks and beg and plead

"please Jack, just one little twirl"

but his feet were fast

glued to the ground

wouldn't change his tune

his resolve was sound

A rose by any other name may smell as sweet

but Twistin’ Jack won't move his feet.

chorus two

Twistin’ Jack Twistin’ Jack

they keep twisting his arm but he just won't crack

he might twist a smile or he might twist a sneer

but you won't see Jack dancing here

One night a stranger come into the joint

as Jack was filling up on bourbon

he grabbed a stool and sat right down

and Jack, he began disturbing

"well, there's an ole' boy here

who dances like the devil or so I have been told

and with a name like Twistin’ Jack he must be something to behold"

He said "I sure would like to see that fella do a little dance or two"

Twistin’ Jack looked him right in the eye and said "yeah, me too"

chorus two

Dirty Little Elf

Written By: Leslie Pattillo Morgan

Santa he don’t love me anymore
he flew by my house didn’t come down
chimney didn’t even knock on the door.
Now I’ll admit that I been naughty
you know that’s just my style
but I’ve been bad so long
i guess I ain’t worth Santa’s while.
Santa won’t ya get me a present down off the shelf
and I’ll try to not be such a dog gone dirty little elf.

Oh Santa Claus don’t be so cold
oh Santa Claus don't ya be so cold
I know you had a long trip and you don’t like what you see
but want you find a little mercy, Santa, lighten up on me

Santa he don’t love me anymore
looked in my stocking didn’t find no goodies,
all i got was a chunk of coal.
now I know you know that I seldom cry
and sure don’t never pout.
so come on old man get out your list
put my address back on your route.
Santa won’t ya get me a present down off the shelf
and I’ll try to not be such a dirty little elf

I'm Going Home on the Morning Train

Written By: Public Domain/Leslie Morgan

I'm going home on the morning train
I'm going home on the morning train
I'm going home, I'm going home, I'm going home on the morning train.
The evening train might be too late
The evening train might be too late, oh lord
The evening train, the evening train, the evening train might be too late.
Meet me my father when I come
Meet me my father when I come , oh Lord
Meet me my father, meet me my father, oh meet me my father when I come.
I'm going home on the morning train
I'm going home on the morning train
I'm going home, I'm going home, I'm going home on the morning train.

Sometimes I Feel Like a Motherless Child

Written By: Public Domain/Leslie Morgan

Sometimes I feel like a motherless child
Sometimes I feel like a motherless child
Sometimes I feel like a motherless child
a long long way from home.
Sometimes I wish I could fly like a bird
Sometimes I wish I could fly like a bird
Sometimes I wish I could fly like a bird
a little, little closer to home.
Sometime I feel like freedom is near
Sometime I feel like freedom is near
Sometime I feel like freedom is near
yet so so far away.
Sometimes I feel like a motherless child
Sometimes I feel like a motherless child
Sometimes I feel like a motherless child
a long long way from home.
