"MF Hussain and Sabeer Bhatia are just some of the folks with a taste for good food and equally good music who are heading for the Taj Mahal Hotel's Apollo Bar. The reason? There are several, including the Californian- Indian fusion cuisine and the sea view, but we feel Smooth Groove, a three-piece band with the sizzling Felicity (yes, that's her name) is the main one. Belting out terrific numbers accompanied by Michael Sazdov on the keyboards and Hans Botellho on the guitar, you can tell she'd quite the songbird. The band performs every night except Tuesday." - THE UPPER CRUST GOURMET, INDIA (Nov 23rd, 2000)

"Two girls, a guy and a great place. That's Apollo Bar, the rooftop bar at the Taj. The girls in question are FELICITY VISIC and VANESSA HAYNES, both good lookers, both great singers. They are singing every night except Tuesday when they take their much needed rest. Joining them on song, and on the keyboards, is MICHAEL SAZDOV. Together they are known as SMOOTH GROOVE. They do get you in a nice and smooth groove. Felicity and Mike come from the land Down Under, while Vanessa is from Trinidad and Tobago. They make a nice exotic combination, and are a big draw among the diners at Apollo Bar." - THE BOMBAY TIMES (Jan 30th, 2001)

"Apollo Bar at the Taj have flown in an Australian band. They call themselves 'Smooth Groove' and things sure are smooth at the rooftop bar as the band plays on every night (except Tuesdays). On song is the lovely lady from Perth, FELICITY VISIC, who studied Jazz and Musical Theatre at Edith Cowans Academy of Performing Arts before touring Asia with the band 'Spectrum.' She has been a hit in Malaysia and Singapore and now she is wowing Mumbai with her smooth voice and sweet smile. One look and you'll know that she's a model, too." - THE BOMBAY TIMES (Nov 15th, 2000)

"They're rocking, they're rolling, they've got the Capital moving and shaking. Delhi Times gets into the groove as Hans Botellho, Felicity Visic and Michael Sazdov, members of the Australian Band Smooth Groove, tone up The Park's Someplace Else." - DELHI TIMES, INDIA (July 13th, 2000)

INTRODUCING FELICITY... she is currently performing her 15th contract in Asia...

Coming from a musical family and vocally trained in contemporary, classical & jazz from the age of seven, Felicity unsurprisingly fell into a musical career.

She was accepted into WAAPA (West Australian Academy Of Performing Arts) and completed studies in Jazz Music and Music Theatre.

Since university graduation, Felicity has spent the last eight years performing six nights a week at
five star hotels and resorts throughout Asia.

From jazz lounges, bars and nightclubs to corporate shows and television, Felicity has worked at all types of venues in everything from acoustic to big band set-ups. She performs a wide range of styles including pop, R&B, soul, latin jazz, reggae and house.

She has just completed a contract at the stunning "Zenith Sky Lounge" at the Marriott Hotel in Nagoya, Japan. She has also performed long term contracts in Hong Kong, China, India, Singapore, Malaysia, South Korea and her home country Australia.

Felicity was fortunate enough to gig with Donnie Sterling from 70's funk outfit "Parliament" for corporate shows, during her time in Hong Kong.

Her influences range from old skool R&B (Stevie Wonder, Jocelyn Brown) to latin jazz (Jobim, Astrud Glberto) to contemporary (Drizabone, Alicia Keys).

Felicity has also been a photographic model in Bali and India for resort magazines, performed in musicals, television commercials, corporate show bands and is a studio session vocalist.
