Miss Grizzly

Miss Grizzly

 Calgary, Alberta, CAN

Miss Grizzly rocks hard, but not without class. Hints of funk, blues, and prog make this quartet a standout and memorable act.

Honing thier live show on home turf across Alberta for a year and a half now, Miss Grizzly is preparing for a full length release in 2014.

Miss Grizzly may be a fairly formal title for a quartet of hard rocking dudes, but the music they create is nevertheless high class all the way."

Marshal Jaeger (vocals), Chan Ly (drums), Nathan Clark (bass), and Clemens Beck (guitar) believe that when it comes to making music, variety is key. Citing influences such as Hendrix, SRV, Tool, Foo Fighters, Coheed and Cambria, Muse, Nine Inch Nails, and Black Sabbath, its no surprise that Miss Grizzlys first effort, a self titled EP released in June 2013, confirms their dedicated rock heritage.

Moving forward, Miss Grizzlys focus continues to be crafting groovy rock n' roll as they evolve both as musicians and a band. They continue to perform around Calgary and western Canada and plans are set forth to record a full length in 2014.

Their debut EP was recorded at Calgarys Echo Base Studios, and was officially released on June 8, 2013.

Miss Grizzly recorded their self-titled 5 track EP in February 2013. All songs were recorded and engineered by Casey Lewis of Echo Base Studios in Calgary, Alberta.
