It feels so good to be alive, because every day CVLT Nation gives us a platform to turn the world on to music that we LOVE! Which is why we feel the need to premiere the new visual from Nola’s MISSING for their song “The Moor of Fables.” Their most recent album The Miserablist is the fucking bomb and full of dark, ethereal Post Punk anthems! Don’t just check out this video – make sure to peep their album. - Cvlt Nation

There’s a chance I might get to see NOLA-based Missing live since at least I share a continent with them! I’m keeping an eye on this band because I love their classic dreamy approach to deathrock. - Cvlt Nation

Bio
“Missing, of New Orleans, brings highway propulsion with motorik precision, spiderweb stringed guitars and wailed vocals that bring to mind the sound of the Golden Age of 4AD, taking the sound of early Simple Minds, Modern English and Mass into cavernous depths where you might find the source of what makes your dark heart pound.”-Longhair Records
Missing is a five piece post punk band from New Orleans. Having been conceptualized in 2016 by vocalist James White, the lineup had been solidified by late 2017, with Missing’s first live performance in January of 2018.
The next six months were spent playing shows alongside acts including The Chameleons, IceAge, Cloud Rat, Rosegarden Funeral Party, Temple of Angels, Black Marble, Choir Boy, LACE, and Kaelan Mikla, building a local following in the process.
In June, Missing went into the studio to record a full length album entitled The Miserablist, which released a year after the band’s debut in February of 2019.
Later that same year, a single and video were recorded for The Moor of Fables, to promote the first upcoming tour which took the band across the southwestern United States in November 2019. Missing has bigger plans to continue touring throughout the rest of the U.S. in 2020 and beyond. Truly, this dark outfit shows no signs of slowing down.
