The Classic Rock/ R & B group Missing Links hail from Rockford, Illinois, and consist of lead vocalist Dan Eisman, vocalist Amy Nickel, bassist Gordon Butt, lead guitarist JJ Jacobs, keyboardist Jeramy Engler, saxaphonist Mike Giacalone and drummer Pat Betts.

The original members of the band started this journey in the mid 60’s, and in 1968 they released a 45 rpm single on Marek Records containing cover versions of “Under my Thumb” and “Get Ready” as well as “I Can’t Take it Anymore” and “Should Have done Better” on Mare Records in 1970.

Missing Links have become one of Rockford’s favorite bands drawing large crowds at festivals, special events and night spots all over the Midwest. From 1991-1995 and 1997-2000, they were awarded the “Best of Rockford” during On the Waterfront Festivals held every year in Rockford during the Labor Day weekend. In 2001 they were inducted into the RAMI (Rockford Area Music Industry) Hall of Fame after receiving five consecutive awards 1996-2000.

They have shared the stage with Blood, Sweat and Tears, Steppenwolf, The Drifters and Gary Puckett and privileged to be opening acts for the Spinners, Ides of March, The Romantics, Three Dog Night, Little Richard, Little Vito and the Torpedoes, Lynne Jordan and the Shivers, Marshall Tucker Band and Randy Bachmann.

Performing at many festival venues in Rockford, Illinois and surrounding communities such as;
Festa Italiana, Cherry Valley Days, Rockford’s Fourth of July Celebration, On the Waterfront and Boone County Fair, Creston Days, Byron Fest and most recently Brat Fest in Madison, Wisconsin.

The Missing Links are known to invite their musician friends to join them on stage, for an evening full of dancing and musical fun
