Bio
Mississippi Road is a pop/blues band based out of Nashville. Their debut album, Songs from 33, features piano-driven originals that combine the sounds of early American music (blues, country, jazz, soul) with a pop sensibility. It starts with the sultry voice of Elzadie Martin, who also plays bass. Eric Kinny completes the duo with his bluesy piano playing and honest songwriting. The name Mississippi Road comes from one of their songs that tells the story of Robert Johnson selling his soul to the devil.
