Miss Luscious

A swirling storm of smooth vocals to hard-hitting rap tones and lyrics, Miss Luscious is not afraid to show that she is a strong and determined woman who takes no prisoners. Boldly displaying her sexual and sensual side in her lyrics, dubbing herself an exotic rapper, Miss Luscious also focuses on the literary art of her craft through vivid storytelling, a skill she developed writing poetry throughout her childhood.

Her music doesn’t rely solely on hardcore lyrics and catchy hooks, but also addresses important elements of everyday life such as relationships and social struggles. Miss Luscious was born and spent her childhood in Fort Pierce, an east coast town in Florida. She learned to sing before she learned to talk and performed her first solo at six years old at Mt. Olive Baptist church as part of the church choir. Her family used to pay her and her siblings to sing and entertain the family, a memory that she considers one of her fondest and a likely starting point for her passion for a music career. Since then, she has opened for artists Lil Wayne and Trina. She performs in nightclubs, at summer festivals and church events. She is currently managed by The Academy Entertainment Corp. Her upcoming mixtape, Star 69, features songs like “Money Freak” and “I’m on 2”.

Miss Luscious describes herself as compassionate, a people pleaser and creative. She admits she’s not perfect, saying she can be selfish and proud. Her selfishness, however, doesn’t run very deep. In her spare time, she enjoys working with mentally disabled citizens in her community. Aside from music, she enjoys doing hair and anything in the arts. She has a strong platform, believing women can express themselves through sexy clothing, provocative style and artistic expression, while still conveying an important and meaningful message.

Miss Luscious’ goals are to simply move people with her music and lyrics and find happiness and success in music. She believes the struggles of life are beautiful and should be embraced. This philosophy can be felt in her music. The combination of contagious beats, lyrics and substance create an undeniably unique style.
