Bio
Miss Umbrella is a rock and roll band from Beaver Dam, KY. Growing up in the heartlands, the members of Miss Umbrella were surrounded by rich southern culture since birth. Armed with guitar, bass, drums and keyboards, Miss Umbrella strives to capture the nobility of pop, folk, and country music forming their own fun and catchy brand of "Southern Power-Pop."
Miss Umbrella plays an average of three shows a month, mostly at small venues around Bowling Green such as Bread & Bagel. They have headlined several shows with opening acts such as The New Whole Usuals and Parachute Musical, and have opened for several more acts including Hotpipes, The Nobility, Dixie Whiskey, and Caitlin Rose. Miss Umbrella has also performed as Caitlin Rose's backing band in the fall of 2007. They have also given two live acoustic performances on 91.7 The Revolution, WKU's College radio station, once in 2006 and the other in 2008.
