"Greenbelt Harvest Picnic 2015 -- Best Ever"

Highlights from the small stage were Missy Bauman and the Dinner Belles. Missy Bauman's energetic set was well received. She has put together a tight and energetic five piece band called DAEDALUS. Anjelica Hammond Rees's backup vocals added a lot of depth to the overall sound. Max Bornstein was rock solid on drums, Benny Langedyk rocked on bass, and Andrew Nunno's guitar work was a strong and appropriate mainstay of the band's overall sound. I'm looking forward to hearing what comes next. - Greater Hamilton Musician

"Harvest Picnic"

The line up was a 10/10 featuring Laura Cole, a five time Hamilton Music Award winner, Kathleen Edwards who sang so well it sounded just like the studio album, and Missy Bauman contributing to the incredible amount of stunning female vocalists, showcasing the young talent in with the seasoned veterans. The women definitely stole the show and the crowd knew it. - 96.9 FM, Radio Humber

"Hamilton Music Awards 2012"

Another special win was Missy Bauman, scoring New Artist/Group of the Year. She was also chosen as the winner of the Rising Star Search, making her the first artist to win both. During her speech she appeared as your average seventeen-year-old, giggly and nervous, but the talented singer transcended age when she treated us to a beautiful performance, showcasing her mature vocal inflections and songwriting. I'm sure it was the first time many of us in the audience were introduced to her music. This is just the beginning for Missy, who has an exciting career ahead of her. - ihearthamilton.ca

"Six Ways of Being Talented, Beautiful, and Intense"

Six ways of being beautiful. Six ways of singing. Six ways of holding a crowd in the palm of your hand. Six styles of songwriting and presentation. Six women, and each one a perfect performer overflowing with talent, charm, and good taste.

That's what we were treated to last night at the "All Girl" Hamilton Music Awards Showcase Concert at Hamilton's new Gasworks venue.

What a rich evening of great songs and voices! Four women-- Jessica Mitchell, Missy Bauman, Katie Bulley, Biance Bernardi-- performed as solo acts with guitar only. Each completely held their own at the microphone and presented thoughtful and well-crafted songs.

Missy Bauman has grown in confidence since I last saw her at the Hamilton Music Awards in 2012 where she was given the Best New Artist award. I was left with a new appreciation, once again, of her unique ability to shape a melody. Just when you're expecting a note to go down, she bends it upward--things like that-- are what made the impression. I'm also convinced that there is no pretence possible for this young performer. It was honest, and she put everything out there. - Greater Hamilton Musician
