Mista Mack

Born and raised in Glace Bay,Nova Scotia, Malcolm "Mista Mack" Macleod was exposed to skateboarding culture at an early age which then turned him on to a variety of music genres. Throughout the '90s, Mack's passion for music progressed and he began song writing. The in the year 2000 he and other friends started the infamous Prophets (Mista Mack, Initial, KNZ, and Marc CEe), Cape Breton's first hip hop group. The Prophets name buzzed all over Cape Breton, while they played shows and recorded songs. By 2002, the group split and everyone pursued solo ventures. In 2006, Initial of the Prophets bought his own recording equipment, started his own label (INI RECORDS) and recruited Mack as his first artist. Nowadays, Mack's track record includes many live performances, recordings, and collaborations with other artists from across Canada.Mack nowadays is not only song writting but he is doing the behind the scneces producing and mastering his own music. Mista Mack is now preparing for his first solo release that will feature some of the best talent from across the country. " This is the birth of a legend .. I will be a dominating force in the music scene " says Mack and with the tracks recorded and his dues paid .. he is out to prove that statement true .
