Mister Creeper exploded on the scene in 2002 and has been rocking dancehall and pubs ever since. With a blend of Roots, Dancehall and Dub fused rhythms; Mister Creeper has been Cincinnatis Reggae Ambassador. Hailing from Northern Kentucky, Daniel Cropper also known to some as Mister Creeper has assembled a new line up and a home recording studio. Daniel began playing guitar around age 9 or 10 Studying at Wert Music in Erlanger KY. There he learned the classics of Blues and Rock and Metal. By the age of 12 he began writing songs forming a band and singing. Through High School he continued writing songs and practicing his craft. It was not until around the age of 20 that he began singing publicly. Mister Creeper started out performing at clubs like Never on Sundays Cosmos Pub and the Mad Frog. He has gone on to play at some of the Tri-States finest venues, like Annies Neons RBC Southgate House and the Mad Hatter. With over 3 hours of original music Mister Creeper is a dominant force to be scene. His gravely vocal chanting and harmonic hooks are signature of his diverse style. With a background in Blues, Jazz and Hard Rock, Daniel meshes different styles of music into his own stew of Creepy Reggae grooves. As a student of reggae music he strives to produce a New Age blend of Roots Music that is palatable to old and young alike. Free downloads are available for those who wish to get a taste. Since 2002 Jeff Rodes has been playing bass for the group. With a booming 5-string style Jeff brings his own style to the songs. He is founder of the Rusty Van Band in which he plays guitar and sings. Ian Hodgins joined the group as the drummer in May of 2006. Ian also plays drums for Low Key. They have been playing with various drummers and keyboard players and changing it up from time to time. They have gone through many changes in the last few years but seem stronger than ever. Keep your eye on the prize That is what Daniel Cropper says about his Art. It is important to never loose sight of what it is that you feel. Always be true to yourself. With lyrics about serious issues ranging from violence, starvation and poverty, to more personal stories of love and misfortune, Mister Creeper brings a heavy dose of Consciousness to the Dancehall.
