J. Stylez is a very high energy producer/artist that is sure to get any crowds attention. Be it with carefully crafted and delivered rhymes or infectious melodies and hooks... (he sings too) his performance is sure to be as effective as it is memorable!
Born and raised in the Bronx, Jay is heavily inspired by hip hop music of today and of the past.Though most of his own music showcases heavy hip hop influences, he remains a student to music of all kinds and his resume is proof!
With past live performance experience that ranges from "A Christmas Carol" at Madison Square Garden" to touring with Kenny Rogers' "The Gift" Christmas tour and other off-Broadway productions, Stylez understands the true meaning of "Showtime"!
Aside from live performances, he is a producer and songwriter for other artists both established and up and coming. Using a combination of computer based software, drum machines, live keyboards and bass, Jay has been crafting original music for others as well himself. Being a recording engineer at TME PRO Studios in the Bronx has allowed him to come in contact and create music with many talented artists of other genres.
J. Stylez takes his stage experience and skill in the studio and blends it all together for an action-packed set that never disappoints. He has taken his talent and performed at clubs, venues and recording studios around the world!
