Bio

Mister Sister was formed in 2005 when a group of friends wanted to form a new group with the ability to perform music from the likes of Aerosmith, Fleetwood Mac, Led Zeppelin, Steely Dan, Rush and so on. They wanted to bring the big sound and vocals to not only larger events but to the club scene as well. With the idea in place for a new group, the search for outstanding musicians began. Through mutual friends and wonderful musicians, Mister Sister's current stellar line up emerged.

Jenny Rose comes to the group from Champaign Il. She has been singing and involved in live productions from a very young age. Jenny has been a strong presence in the live music scene for over 20 years. Her vocal style runs a broad gamet and she is very passionate about performing.

Tracey Meyer has an incredible low female voice. Compared to Stevie Nicks often Tracey brings a low end female harmony sound that sets Mister Sister apart from other big harmony bands. Tracey also sang with the Peoria based group West Mac Queen Street Band for many years.

The drumming force behind Mister Sister is supplied by Eric Yarbrough (formerly of Exit). Along with a bachelor’s degree in music business, Eric has played in countless bands on the road touring as well as locally since 1984. He has played on several recordings you may very well find on the bargain rack at any upscale truck stop or back shelf at a low key record store. He claims “I have more low down mojo than a hippo on a diet of soul food and refried beans”.

Due to his many years of experience working with experimental jam rock bands like Ion Quest and Because of the Sun, Dan Byrd brings a bass sound to Mister Sister that is much broader than most Rock bassists. Mister Sister is Dan's first venture into playing live cover music and he likes it.

Jason McMichael has been a long wanted addition to the Mister Sister family and we can finally say “WE GOT HIM” Jason has played the cover music scene for many years and knows how to put on a show. He adds amazing versatility the band. This guy can play all.

David Gueldenhaar also has many years’ experience in the experimental jam rock world and has wowed us with his abilities. He brings a new guitar sound to Mister Sister that is remarkable and unmatched.
