Bio

Since 1998, Misty Ridge Bluegrass Band has been providing bluegrass music to fans all over Illinois and Missouri. They play 20+ engagements per year.

The music played by Misty Ridge Bluegrass Band is "traditional" bluegrass. Much of it comes from legends such as: Bill Monroe, Flatt & Scruggs and the Stanley Brothers to name a few. They also throw in some original tunes such as “Say What You Mean Cathy Ann” along with some old classic “country & western” tunes.

This family trio of talented musicians adheres to the policy of playing great bluegrass music. Whether they are playing for a small gathering or for a large audience, the band's dedication to the "traditional" values always remains constant.
