mitch butler is a dynamic vocalist, songwriter and performer; she’ll take you on a journey of unrequited love and refreshing honesty.
Think PJ Harvey with an acoustic guitar, The Motels with more angst, the spunk of Deborah Conway and a voice like you’ve never heard before. Mitch Butler is an original artist that commands, without an ounce of effort, the full attention of a room. Her vocal range, power and unique style belts out a beautiful blend of light and shade that compels every hair on your body to stand to attention.
Her debut ep “Nothing Minor” was created in a beautiful farm house in the Southern Highlands - produced, recorded and mixed by Sydney Green & mastered by Don Bartley. The ep was launched at the Basement, Sydney to a full house in November 2007 with a full band introducing the 5 tracks from the ep plus 5 other tunes that will make the rest of the much anticipated debut album.
