Biography

I have played guitar and enjoyed music for many years. But I have only recently begun to write music. My inspiration is simple and classic; after a long and rocky road I have finally found "The One".

A Good Woman Will Do That For A Man

Written By: Mitchell Rosenfield

There’s been some strange coincidences since I met you
Unusual instances of dreams comin’ true
The before version of my life was lookin’ pretty down
But since I met you baby everything has turned around
It seems before that things would only get worse
But now my life’s a country song in reverse!

Well, I shrug my shoulders cause I don’t understand
I guess a, a good woman will do that for a man.

New good things keep happenin’ every day
Like, my dog came back after runnin’ away
The repo man returned my truck and gave my hand a shake
He said “I’m sorry for the mix up; it was all a big mistake!”
My ex-boss called me up and I’m so amazed
I got my job back and he gave me a raise!

Well, I shrug my shoulders cause I don’t understand
I guess a, a good woman will do that for a man.

All your attention is improving my mood
(kissin’ and-a huggin’ and-a squeezin’ and-a lovin’)
And your sweet affection keeps me feelin’ renewed
(kissin’ and-a huggin’ and-a squeezin’ and-a lovin’)
Well, the chip’s off my shoulder and that’s how it’s gonna stay
I got an attitude adjustment in a most pleasant way
Before we met I didn’t think I’d survive
But now I never, ever felt so alive!

Well, I shrug my shoulders cause I don’t understand
I guess a, a good woman will do that for a man.

Well, I shrug my shoulders cause I don’t understand
I guess a, a good woman will do that for a man.

Yea, I shrug my shoulders cause now I understand
That you’re a good, good woman
And baby,
I’m you’re man!

I'll Come Home To You

Written By: Mitch Rosenfield

I wish I wasn't leaving. I know you wish I would stay
But there's a job to do, I need to see it through; It's one that takes me away
Well the obligations in this crazy world will sometimes lead us apart
But I'll always come home to you and I'm always there in my heart

I'll come home to you and hold you in my arms
I'll come home to you so let our love keep us strong
With the sound and fury and the constant worry and you feel you can't go on
Well, we'll keep on going by always knowing
I'll Come Home To You.

I know it's not much comfort when I say I'll be fine
When your thoughts start racing ‘bout this dangerous world it's enough to lose your mind
But don’t let your faith become overwhelmed by the worries that you hide
I will always come home to you; I was meant to be by your side.

I'll come home to you and hold you in my arms
I'll come home to you so let our love keep us strong
With the sound and fury and the constant worry and you feel you can't go on
Well, we'll keep on going by always knowing
I'll Come Home To You.

No matter where I’m going; no matter what I do
I will always find my way back home; every road leads back to you!

I'll come home to you and hold you in my arms
I'll come home to you so let our love keep us strong
With the sound and fury and the constant worry and you feel you can't go on
Well, we'll keep on going by always knowing
I'll Come Home To You.

And when the job is through and I'm back with you
and you're curled up in my arms
I'll hold you closely, as I whisper softly…
Darlin' I'm home.

You're The One

Written By: Mitch Rosenfield

Whenever I introduce you I’ll say your name, then pause
Explaining what you are to me is difficult because
Girlfriend sounds too casual; like we’ve only come so far
There doesn’t seem to be a word that describes just what we are.
So what do I call the one who is my everything
You’re my one true love, you’re my best friend, you’re my destiny
And after all the explanations and when all is said and done
You’re my happily ever after,
You’re The One.
“Well then hurry up and marry her”, you know they always say
“You better formalize and notarize before she gets away”
But we both know a contract never made somebody stay
So we’ll earn our tomorrows by doing right today.
So what do I call the one who is my everything?
You’re my one true love, you’re my best friend, you’re my destiny
And after all the explanations and when all is said and done
You’re my happily ever after,
You’re The One.
We’ll never take for granted a single moment that we share
We’ll treasure each and every day as our days become our years
So what do I call the one who is my everything?
You’re my one true love, you’re my best friend, you’re my destiny
And after all the explanations and when all is said and done
You’re my happily ever after,
You’re The One.

Don't Be Afraid

Don’t Be Afraid

Music and lyrics by Mitchell L. Rosenfield
Written September, 2005

Don't be afraid
There is so much more for you
A new time begins
When this time is through
Throughout all time
All that is old turns new
With all there will be
There will still be you
Don't be afraid
There's a God to embrace every day
And there's life after life you will live
And there's so much more love to give
Live out your days
Taking in all the worlds grandeur
Let each day add
To the richness of who you are
All you forgot
And all you’ll forget is not what’s true
What you become
Is what comes through
Don't be afraid
There's a God to embrace every day
Is it proof that you need to begin
Look around you or look within
What else explains
All the beauty each new day brings,
What else explains
What you feel when a tenor sings?
Don't be afraid
There's a God, this I’m certain of
What else explains
A mother's love!
