Bio

Released through Sydney label Future Classic (Flume / Flight Facilities / Panama), Mitzi dropped their their highly anticipated debut album Truly Alive on February 15 in Australia and February 19 globally.

Mixed by Ash Workman (Klaxons /Metronomy), the LP features iTunes Single of the Week, 'Who Will Love You Now', LCD Soundsystem-esque title track 'Truly Alive', and showcases the bands unique brand of garage disco, NYC indie with the light-heartedness of Australian pop.

Having already supported the likes of Foster The People, The Whitest Boy Alive, Neon Indian, Little Dragon and more, a run of dates in early 2013 saw Mitzi support Foals, Classixx, Lindstrom and Flight Facilities, and the foursome were also recently announced to showcase at SXSW in 2013. Mitzi have also used their production skills to remix artists such as Two Door Cinema Club (Kitsune), Cassian (Bang Gang 12"s), Lo Fi Fnk, Yes You and Jinja Safari.

The Brisbane quartets electronic influences no longer comply with a classic pop pigeonhole. Armed with a dreamy astral delivery, vintage analogue warmth and summery sounds, this record is steeped in disco cool.

With brief exhalations for verses, toe-tapping guitars, and synths sparkling intermittently in the background, All I Heard strives for that blissful feeling of mindlessness above all else. - Pitchfork

An excellent album of carefree, kick-off-your-shoes disco. - The Fader
