This band brings to the music scene a fresh new rock , funk , and hip hop
with a feel for some jazz to add to its flavor of style. The band is comprised
of four talented musicians hand picked by the 19th Street Hustlers that
hail from the Delaware County area, Danny, MarkyZ , JohnD, and Bob who
together create the hot new sounds that will blow your mind! Their
influences comprise of many styles of music.
Mix Match Sox is extremely versatile in the music they create as a band.
Danny speeds through like lightning with his cutting diverse style of lyrics
he spits out, John delivers a symphony on the keys that keep the juices
flowing while MarkyZ thumps out the rock and funk on the bass holding
down a smooth solid rhythm and Bob pounds out the beats with his speed
and precise timing to tie the whole sound together.
It all came together in the year 2004, the Sox music was being heard all
though out the Philadelphia Tri-State area when we released a single “Static”
under the StarPower Entertainment Group Inc., which released a
compilation CD featuring more hot tunes from the band. Soon the single
“Static” was being heard and promoted in local clubs and bars and also some
clubs outside of the Philadelphia area such as Club XL in Trenton New Jersey.
On July 4th 2005 Mix Match Sox performed live in front of 2,500 people on
the Clifton Heights field in Clifton heights ,PA and afterwards was rushed
by local fans for autographs and pictures after the show. The Sox were
featured in the local paper the following day after.
Mix Match Sox released their first CD in 2006 featuring
the hot single “Static” and another soon to be released as a single as well
from this CD. College and National Radio stations are showing a great
interest in promoting these hot new Artists on to the National scene and
soon will be looking forward to more appearances and promotions of the
band to follow after the release of their first CD titled “As The Dust Settles”
The Band is looking forward to releasing sometime within this year a hot
new video of the single “Static” which will be a featured track on the CD
“As The Dust Settles”. Mix Match Sox will soon be burnin’ up the east coast
with their hot new CD.
