Bio

Antonia "Mizz" Mosby (born December 27, 1985) got into fashion and music at a young age.  Looking up to artist such as Queen Latifah, MC Lyte, and Da Brat Mizz developed her own style of music. Showing versitility with her hardcore flow, Mizz swag could not be duplicated or compared to others. Mosby faced many hardships, but battled it all simply by putting her faith into the most high and believing that her dreams will one day come true. Looking up to older cousins  Walter Jefferson (Black Walt) and Robert Bryant (R.B) Mizz learned as much as she could about the music game and applied her knowledge towards her career.

Mizz was born and raised in Kansas City, Mo, daughter of Paula Moore and Antonio Mosby.  Wanting to pursue music at the age of 8, Mizz started writing her own lyrics and getting into everything dealing with music.  Attending school at Ervin Middle School, Mizz got into band; playing a clarinet and trumpet; also forming a "rap group" with friends.  During school Mizz entered into numerous of talent shows (winning) and entering battles against different artist within her school which helped her become popular.  Later Mizz attended Paseo Academy School Of Arts taking up creative writing to help improve her writing skills. Graduating early with the class of "03" Mizz set out to make her dreams more of reality. Therefore, she came up with her own label "Fly Muzikc" and recruited more artist.  Performing at plenty of clubs in her hometown and opening for numerous of artist such as Sean Paul (of Young Bloodz), Huey, Shawna (Of DTP), Lil Ru, Louisiana Cash, Lola Bunny, Tech Nine and more; helped Mizz gain a better fan base. Winning a talent show at a club, Mizz met Xta-C (Mr. So Heavy) and became very good friends with him. Later, Mizz came up with the hit single "Go To Work" featuring the heavy weight Xta-C taking over the clubs.  "Go To Work" stayed in rotation on 103.3 Jamz for months, making the Top 20 countdown of 2012.
