Mizz Reality

Mizz Reality has been rapping since she was thirteen years old. Back when JJ Fad was Supersonic, Salt and Peppa was Pushin it, and Mc Lyte was lyte as a rock, Mizz Reality was making use of a pen and pad of her own. She has an electrifying stage prensence. She is bold, and doing what it takes to get God's message out.

Shanell Henry, a female emcee from the Capitol City of Lansing, Michigan known as ‘Mizz Reality”, expressed a profound interest in the art of hip hop at an early age. “Mizz Reality” has ministered through song at various ministries, and venues throughout the country.

She took first place in the semi-finals: Chicago region, in the Exalting Him national talent search hosted by Daywind Records, and TBN, which allowed her to share her gift on national television. She also appeared on Bobby Jones “New Artist Showcase”, 2005 “Rock the Vote” tour with Doug E Fresh, and 2005 Pantene Total You tour.

“Mizz Reality” is a member of MGHHA (Midwest Gospel Hip Hop Alliance) based in Cleveland, Ohio. She has shared the stage with well known recording artists such as: Yolanda Adams, Vickie Winans, Ki-Ki Kiera Sheard, and MC Lyte to name a few. God has given her lyrics that will convict the lost, promote the kingdom, and give God all the glory, honor, and praise. Her new release “For His Glory” is now available.

Living her purpose in God, “Mizz Reality” respectfully aspires to preserve the art of hip hop for future generations, in a holy way. Her ultimate goal is to evangelize through music for His Glory.
