Luciana hails from Reston by way of Detroit, sporting a tight flow and a serious demeanor. Though a member of the DMV collective Young Boss Society, she flies mostly solo on this debut release. The majority of the tracks contemplate the struggle of existence when faced with limited options and hard choices. G.I. Productions matches the material’s gravity with otherworldly minor tones and a clicktrack blitz. Check out “NOT MY LVL” for its amped up dancehall hook and unnerving electric chimes. From the heart of Downtown Detroit, Michigan, to the South side of Reston, VA - a new indescribable talent emerges. Luciana has created her own lane, and is definitely taking the world by storm. Born into a family well known in Michigan for Jazz/Gospel/Soul talents, she's taken those roots and spun them into a unique sound of her own. Luciana is 1/4 of a DMV collective called “M.O.B,” short for My Own Boss.
